I am a first-generation immigrant who moved to the United States seven years ago. I live in Maine and graduated from the University of Southern Maine. Currently, I am a graduate student at Northeastern University (Roux Institute). I write blogs about life experiences in Somalia, refugee camps, and America. I am going to blog about traveling, hiking, finance, corporate jobs, communities, culture, and other interesting things. I was born in Mogadishu, Somalia, but grew up in a refugee camp in Kenya.
